Carolina Quench is a family owned Myrtle Beach Italian ice business located in North Myrtle Beach, SC, operated by Vince and Kathy Smith who have been in business on the Grand Strand for over 30 years. Vince began as a lifeguard in Myrtle Beach in 1984 and owned and operated Beach Services in both Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach.
When they were married in 1990 Kathy moved to the Grand Strand and took an active role in running the “quench” operation for H & S Beach Service and started her career with Horry County Schools. Vince also started working with HCS during the winters and both have been heavily involved with the schools and community ever since serving in leadership roles of various organizations.
Carolina Quench works closely with many community events and donates money, time and product to a number of organizations and schools.
